Collection - Dazzled

Hi Peeps,

 

This is my review of Collection's nail effects the Bedazzled range there are 4 in the collection I am yet to pick up the 4th one up!

 

The Swatches have two coats there are glitter specks in this which is the same colour of the polish and each one then has iridescent glitters in it that are larger but not huge. These are a good sparkly top coat.

 

The lids on the bottles are a bit on the chunky side and the green one (glittersweet) the inside of the lid came out when i was opening it :( never mind its not like I cant use it. If you wanna be dazzled these are the polishes for you!!

Matte graffiti!

Hi Peeps!!

 

Well here we have a little bit of a  Nail Art Design!!

 

On my Thumb and Ring Finger I used Barry M Matte White and Seventeen Off the Wall Graffiti Nail Polish this is a fab top coat addition to any polish and gives a retro/Indie Look (I have reviewed these in a previous post) I have then on the remaining 3 fingers used 3 of the Born Pretty Store BK polishes in stripes then matte top coated them and added silver glitter striper down the lines.

 

I loved this and this was a hard wearing Mani i had this on for a week. only removed due to growth! hope you like it!!

Avon Summer Colours

Hi Peeps!!

  

These were Avon's Summer Colours. These are lovely vibrant colours and very summery and pretty remind me of the colours of Bacardi Breezers alco pops that I used to drink when I was late teen! (Are they still sold it was a long time ago?!!!) All of these polishes are shimmery and have very fine glitter in them which makes them super shiny they are beautiful. In true Avon fashion the polishes go on well and are full opaque in 2 coats the brushes are easy to use as always! overall these are Fab.

BarryM - Sequined Effect

Hi Peeps!!

 

Again this is a post from ages ago that was inadvertently deleted by me!! (See post of  6th July 2013 for explanation)

 

As you will have gathered from my Blog I love love love Barry M!! these are my favourite polishes of all time and i worship them and have to have all the new ones that are released!!

 

However I was disappointed by these polishes and expected them to be sooooooo much better! I feel they would have been better minus the texture.  I love their textured polishes don't get me wrong but felt cheated with these. Sorry Barry M.

 

If they had been just creams with glitters in would have been more of a rival for the Revlon ones and others like them. The swatches have two coats on them.

Miss Sporty - Glitters & Creams

Hi Peeps !!

 

I finally  gave in and bought so Miss Sporty Polishes and they were an absolute bargain.  I got them in Boots and they were on offer at the time and were buy one get one half price!!! they are only £1.99 to start with.

 

I love glitters as top coats and these are really good they give a subtle sparkle to your polish. I love them both and would recommend these polishes especially if you are on a strict budget or just want an of the moment polish.

 

the swatches have 2 coats on and the glitter does not seem to require any placement as it is very fine and coverage is even.

 

 

Since I had lots of boots points saved up I thought I'd go wild and picked up five cream colours. These colours are fab and the swatch has 2 coats of each and the coverage is fab. The only downside for me (because I'm a polish geek and catalogue my polishes) that the names are not on the bottles and only numbers. They have their names on the display in the shop so if i remember rightly the Yellow is called Popcorn! I was surprised by the quality and the formula as cheaper polishes you normally expect a compromise on the quality but not here these are fab and not a bad word to say about them. I wore these and from memory they with stood my day at work of constant typing and looked vibrant and sunny I did each colour on a separate nail! that's just how I roll.

Burlesque esq!

Hi Peeps

 

This was a design that I did a while ago and only just got around to posting. I had a bit of an accident with the Blogger app on my mobile and inadvertently deleted some of my posts!!! was very annoyed as I deleted drafts and the blogger app deleted the published versions of the drafts!!! maybe my lack of expertise with these things but I'm going to try my best to put the posts back and if anything this has taught me that I must copy my text into a word document to save the info just in case!!!

 

this design I did using Barry M black and Barry M gelly Dragon Fruit and I had some odd bits of nail wraps left over that were too big for my nails so i cut it down to use in the design. I used a Matt top coat by Attitude on the black nail polish.

 

The design reminded me of a burlesque costume ish! hence the name on the post. Hope you like this and thanks for dropping by.
