Miss Sporty - Oh my Gem!

Hi Peeps! I have a gem for you here! .........

I quite like Miss Sporty products and the nail polishes are great as well! At £1.99 a polish the quality is surprising. I don't think they are going to be a forever bottle but at the price you don't need them tobe! These three colours are opaque in 2 coats an the colours are....

Purple -be a star,
Gold - blazing bronze,
Red - gorgeous red!

If your wanting a polish to match an outfit that are vibrant then these are your go to staples! I wore the purple one for work and my friend was like 'is that glitter top coat over such and such' I was like 'no its a polish full stop' she was well impressed and so am I. I love these gems and think they appeal to all ages. I wouldn't be disappointed if there was one of these polishes in my stocking at Christmas! The colours are perfect for the party season for sure!  Let me know if you have tried them and what you think!

Hope you enjoyed the post and thanks for stopping by! Lolly_Elle :o) xx

Professional Beauty North 2013

Hi Peeps! Hope this post finds you all well!

This is my 2 week overdue post! I've been a bit weighed down lately especially since the show.

On to the show! It was an early start to the day leaving to pick my lovely work friend up for 8.30am and neither of us are what you would call morning people! But I think the excitement out weighed the drag of getting outta bed!  We arrived in Manchester in time to get a decent parking space aswell, under the Gmex (Manchester Central as its now called! It will always be the Gmex tome the place I saw Take That in 1994!)

It was just before opening time so we hot footed it over to Costa Coffee for some shopping fuel! We're both coffee heads as well! So it was about 10.20am and we wandered over to see all the loveliness that was Professional Beauty North! I had some specifics that I was going for so I planned to leave then until I was leaving! Mum sent me with list as well! The plan was to do a cicircuit and then buy buy buy! Which we did in a fashion. There was so many lovely things to see. We were given the speil by dream weave mascara and the lovely lady said £5 each bargin I'll have 4! Went back to get them and it was £5 each if you bought 24! I'm a nail person with 2sets of lashes and didn't have 24 peeps mind for wanting mascara never mind I'll get them from the guy who comes into work!

On to what I went for I wanted to see what the China glaze man had! Also wanted to see what offers Elemis had and I needed to pay a visit to NSI!

I didn't get any China glaze or Elemis in the end! I did get all the nail files I wanted and spent nearly £55 on files and sand turtles with NSI! I got some Nubar Polishes see previous posts!
I got me some more sparkles and glitter I promise to show these later on. I still haven't taken pics of them! I got some manicure and pedi salt scrubs from Pro-tocol I really live them again I'll do a post about that soon! I visited Cuccio and got the hand cream mum wanted she fell in love with it at last years show!  So that was the extent of my purchases really. There was plenty else there, I might go to the London show in Feb when there will be more exhibitors! Wished they all came to Manchester!  We stayed for about 3hours and made our way back to Scouse!  Hope you like my pics of the day! The very last pic was from London this Feb and me n my m8 are in the pic! Ha ha! we proper gegged in! Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for dropping by Lolly_Elle :o) x

China Glaze - Halloween

 Hi Peeps!

I thought I add a little Halloween touch to the proceedings!!

I got these polished last year at Pro-Beauty North 2012 and I haven't really done that much with them since adding then to my helmer!! These are the China Glaze 2012 collection they didn't have a box set for me to get from the show this year was a little peeved but I have got these so that some what softens the blow! I'm not totally without Halloween colours!

I know that china glaze did have Halloween Polishes this year I just couldn't get them at the show!

I do like these and I have worn the Purple - Bizzare Burple and its great. The Orange which is called Rogish Red looks Fab with Glitter Goblin over the top of it.
I have a few China Glaze polishes and they aren't my fave but I like them. I probably feel this way as they aren't as widely available in the UK as they perhaps could be. When I got these the set was about £11.00 then V.A.T had to be added so not too badly priced. I feel that they would be double that if sold in mainstream shops like Boots or Superdrug! May be one day!

Below are the pics and swatches.

Nubar - Greys

 Hi Peeps!

I thought I'd share these little beauties with you. I got them when I went to Pro Beauty North in Manchester.  I have been looking for the perfect greys for ages and not found one. I have now a couple and a lovely texture polish as well!

I haven't had any Nubar polishes until now either and now I want more! they are lovely and the Cream (swatch number 1) is a one coater and the coverage is fab. It's a little darker than elephant grey and is exactly what I was looking for. Swatch number 2 is metallic and a gun metal grey it's appropriately named Silver Sword. I used 2 coats on this watch as I felt that there was slight drag over the apex of the swatch nail. I love this though and its a fab dramatic colour. Then finally I decided on a texture and plumbed for one that would compliment the other 2!
I'm thinking accent nails as I type!

The texture has black and white specks with a shimmery base colour that's an opal kind of shimmery effect. Its B-EA-UTIFUL!

Overall I'm pretty pleased with these purchases, especially as they were the only polishes I got at the show and each bottle was only £3.95 Bargain!!!
These 3 have deffo left me wanting more Nubar Polishes!  The display was amazing too! but you will have seen these in my previous post!
