#31dc2013 days 29 - 31

 Hi Peeps!

 

Well I got there, the last post for this years #31dc2013

the last 3 days were a treat.  I really enjoyed these so there's not much else to say at this point I want to tell you it by the photos......................!!!

 

Day 29 - Supernatural.

 

I thought I'd go for ghosts as it's not too long now to Halloween. The background for my ghosts is a mixture of sponged greens from Avon, Sequined Turquoise, Chilling Teal & Serene then I added the ghosts using a dotting tool and then added the eyes and put some Barry M - Aqua Glitter in between the ghosts. I think this looks very effective!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 30 - Inspired by A Tutorial

 

I was inspired by I HAVE A CUPCAKE! of course hers is much better!  Since its Autumn it made sense to choose an appropriate tutorial!

..Day 31 - Honour your Nails

 

I chose this particular design and it is a design that I suppose started my nail art off way back when! and at the time I didn't realise!

 

When I was 17 I worked in Argos in Liverpool, the store is not there now as it was knocked down when the new Liverpool One development was done! I worked there at the weekend while I was at college and uni the first time round!

 

I didn't own many polishes and used to use what few my Mum had as well. I did however have a Purple and a Lilac. I remember trying to use Sellotape to get a perfect line down the middle of my nails so one side was purple and one side lilac. Of course this didn't work as the Sello was too harsh and pulled the colour off one half. So I had to free hand instead from memory it wasn't too bad either!

 

I wasn't supposed to wear polish at work and would get put in the Stock room where more often than not I would break nails and ladder tights on ladders and heavy boxes of flat packed furniture! Boo Hiss! 

 

I remember seeing another blogger use a dotting tool to make it look like the colours were interlinked to I added to my orignail!!! ha ha! and do an old meets modern.

 

To me this was a fitting end to the #31dc2013  journey I have taken!

 

 

 

 Altogether for the final bow for this years challenge!
