Hi Peeps!
Here's a little review for you to get your reading tackle around!
I finally received my Rococo Nail Polishes! Delivery issues :'(
As you can see I have my little darlings now! My first ever Rococo was the light pink called My Cupcake - this is a lovely creamy colour and the coverage is brilliant (swatch of colours below this is number 1!).
I got this one for Christmas 2012 from my lovely friend n his lovely wife! Up to this point I hadn't heard of this brand and didn't know much about it!
I looked at the website www.rococonails.com originally and the main online seller was Space.NK,apothecary. The Polished retail at £12 per bottle. Here's a bit of brand info in case you have not heard of the brand.
I decided to have a quick look and stumbled on so really good offers recently on the Space-NK website and just had to try them. The presentation of Rococo is amazing and very classy. Each item comes in a Box of its own and the items are very secure in their boxes.
There is an information leaflet included with tells you about the products that are offered and the different types of finishes you can get from their products. There's some info about the company.
'the bit about us' section says ..... " Building a cult and underground following, sisters Ange & Vernice have now been in the nail industry for over 15 years. Combining extensive salon experience and creative fashion knowledge the London based duo formulated the fashion forward Rococo Nail Apparel.. with a vision of creating the ultimate 'nail wear' .. ever changing... a reflection of the moment or an insight into the future, our feelings, our desires, perfection...all expressed in a stunning little bottle........ "
First up is a duo pack this is called 'EmpoweRED Duo'
the information says - 'find your perfect shade of red or take your manicure from day to evening with this revolutionary duo. Empowered is out ultimate flattering shade of crimson with a crème gloss finish that can be customised to your signature red hot hue with the innovative Empowered Toner.'
There is the red and then a toner that you use as a top coat to make the red more dramatic. I have swatched the red on it's own and it is a brick like red this is swatch number 6. I them swatched the red with the suggested four coats of toner this is swatch 7 and just for interest I swatched the toner on it's own at number 8 this is four coats (see Swatches below!)
Again the polish comes in a lovely box.
The retail price for this was £25.00 however in the sale I paid £6.00 Bargain!

I picked up a lovely white shimmer this is called 'Sno Baby Luxe'. Luxe is the polish type and this is described as a Luxurious pearlescent or iridescent formula with a glossy finish.
I feel that I have struck gold with this polish! It's sooooo nice and looks really pretty on nails. See swatch number 2. The individual polish was reduced to £3 from £12!!! yay!

Next up is Swatch numbers 3, 4 , 5 this trio is called the 'Notorious Trio' this was reduced from £28 to £8 and the colours are number 3 Black Pearl Luxe, Number 4 V.I.P crème & number 5 Lab Nude Sheer Gloss. The box for this is like a little drawer its soooooo cute.
I had expected to receive a silver polish by Rococo to called Mysterioso however this is still out standing on the order so I don't know as I will receive this as yet. I await an email to confirm.
finally ........... Here's the Swatches!!!
I hope you like this post. I was sooooo excited to get these and share them! I absolutely love my new purchases and I love the fact they were on sale too as the price for one individual is steep at £12 and not in most peoples budgets. I get why they are this price as the quality is amazing and the attention to detail with the packaging is totally unique.
Thanks for dropping by
Lolly_Elle :o) x
