Hi Peeps!
Its that time of the week again #31dc2013 a recap through my Instagram posts. You can follow my on Instagram by clicking on the button on the right hand side! all the designs are after the jump!
Day Eight........... Metallic
I used Avon Lucky Penny (bronze) Starry Sky (silver) & Golden Vision (gold)
I wanted to take this literally and use the colours of metals or metal money!!
I knew I wanted to have them all on the same design so I plumed for a wavy line design to separate the colours.
Day Nine ....... Rainbow
I loved the idea of a rainbow I have never done a rainbow in full on nails before so here was my opportunity! I used a base coat of Barry M white and used different coloured pearls to fill the nail I think this would make a fab accent nail!
Day Ten .......... Gradient
This was my biggest challenge this week as I'm not the best at gradient nails and never have been (a skill I need to try and do better at) I used a base coat of No17 Lasting Fix in Mini Skirt then did my gradient using a sponge with Miss Sporty Yellow, Orange and Dark Pink Topped with some butterflies (I adore butterflies)
I think the overall look is ok I'd have liked to have had a better looking gradient!
Day Eleven .....Polka dots
For this I use a base of Barry M black and then went dotty with my dotting tool and various Barry M colours including textures! I did top this off with my George top coat in Starry Eyed.
Day Twelve....... Stripes
I used Rococo Nail Apparel My Cupcake and then a white, pink and silver glitter striper! hey presto here's some stripes! To make them a bit more I added a slight tilt as I didn't want them to be crisp and uniform so free hand it was!
Day Thirteen ....... Animal Print
I love Leopard print so this was my print of choice!
I used Barry M Mushroom for the base colour then Avon Golden Vision and Lucky Penny for the splodges and a black nail art striper and topped with George Starry Eyed. I love that as a topper but hell it proper smells chemically!
Day Fourteen........ Flowers.
I loved the idea of the flowers but wanted to make it chintz!
I got out my dotting tool and waived it in the air like I just didn't care!
My base colour is Barry M White then for the flowers I use Barry M Vivid Purple and Gelly High Shine Pomegranate and for the leaves I used the Barry M Special Edition Green which was from Superdrug!
I am really pleased with this! These are the best flowers I have ever done with a dotting tool!
Here's a pic of them all together!
I hope you enjoyed this post thanks for dropping by!
